Who she is…
J.J. received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Miami in Florida. She completed her doctorate in physical therapy at NOVA Southeastern University. She has almost 20 years of experience in a multitude of clinical settings with the majority of experience with people with neuromuscular deficits. She is certified as a clinical specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). She also has extensive training and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), as well as being a certified exercise specialist from the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy.
J.J. is an Adjunct Professor at Nazareth College and a Professor at South College, both in their physical therapy departments. She has served on many professional committees related specifically to neurology, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and wound care. She has conducted nationwide seminars on the Treatment of Patients with Neurological deficits, Spinal cord injuries, Balance Challenges, and Parkinson’s Disease.

Who she really is…
J.J. and her husband love their Golden Retrievers. J.J. also enjoys the summers in Rochester, NY, which is known as the time of year that the “Summer Series” of parties are held at J.J.’s house. Each month during the summer their house hosts a party inviting a large variety of friends. The night includes bonfires, beer tasting, guitar playing, and lots of laughter. All are welcome to the Summer Series so both old and new friendships are formed every year. It is a joyful time by all who attend!
