Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS)

The CSRS™ enables physical and occupational therapists to become preeminent stroke clinicians through a rigorous set of courses culminating in a written examination and internationally-recognized credential.

Registration opens March 17, 8:00 pm EST

Overview

The program consists of a four-tiered, stroke educational program. The certification begins with 9-hours of foundational content, delivered via an online learning management system. This content includes foundational concepts in stroke and neurorehabilitation (e.g., motor learning; neuroanatomy), and lays the groundwork for live labs and didactics. Required “knowledge checks” are delivered after each online learning module.

After completing all of the online learning content, attendees take part in live didactics and labs which build on this core knowledge, occurring in a three day in person format.

The four-course series culminates in an online test administered via a secure website. Successful test completion with a score of 80% or above grants the CSRS™ certification, which are placed behind one’s professional credentials.

Schedule

All online content must be completed before the in-person seminars begin. We reserve the right to disallow attendance at live courses if online content has not been completed.
